The project engaged teachers of different subjects to co-operate more effectively. Inicially, the team members' selectionhad a clear vision of what kind of traits would be a benefit. Positive, co-operative, able to communicate and call for a discussion personalities are willing to grow, change and transform. Another focus was on a team that unites teachers of diverse subjects. Such a variety might lead to a deeper coversation from different perspective. Finally, it was very important to take into consideration the fact of additional value that might be created by every team member. What concerns fields which require a change, basically, the focus was on gymnasium environment, digital content and new, more effective ways of communication. Such a transformation might positively impact on learning and teaching process and result in creating a more appealing educational environment for all participants of the process.
Klaipedos Vytauto Didziojo gimnazija is known as the first Lithuanian gymnasium in the city and Klaipeda area. It is valued due to its academic achievements and accomplishments in diverse fields. Local families prefer it as a perfect place for their childen, however, competition among schools has significantly grown in recent years. Therefore, the gymnasium and its community must transform and look forward to changes. To make it happen, some vital measures are unavoidable. This resulted in a need of knowledge and experience. This understanding helped to plan activities in the frame of Erasmus+ project. Mobility course in various European countries let build a team of teachers willing to act for a change, look forward to discussions and intiatives that allow the school grow and gaion more recognition in the competitive environment.
