The student and staff participation in the Erasmus + mobility programme is considered to be of utmost importance for improving the internationalisation of studies at Kauno kolegija and is instrumental to reach the foreseen indicators of the KK strategic development. Kauno kolegija strives to enhance the internationalisation and quality of studies and exploit the opportunities for the mobility offered by international academic exchange programmes. Main aim of the project was to offer as many high quality mobility opportunities as possible both for students and staff of our institution. Mobility is one of key elements of successful internationalization of the institution and we believe that it is very important for participants on a personal level as well. We were aiming to achieve balanced participation in mobility activities in the respect of represented study fields however still the activity level in some study fields is much lower than we would prefer. We are actively encouraging the staff to deepen their professional competencies as well as share that knowledge with students and staff from partner institutions and to do it in the international environment was one of the goals of the project.
