The project activities aimed to implement the goals specified in the development strategy of Šiauliai State Higher Education Institution and the internationality development plan: strengthen strategic partnerships and international cooperation, attract students from abroad, improve the quality of mobility, strengthen professional, intercultural, linguistic competencies of students, teachers and administrative staff. During the implementation of the project, the aim was to provide the academic staff with opportunities to improve their professional skills and qualifications, to establish contacts for joint research and articles, to draw good experience from foreign organizations and apply them at the Institution for internationalization and modernization of studies, updating study subject plans. In implementing the project, the aim was to create conditions for students of the institution to gain international experience, promote mentoring, and improve their English language skills by going to study in foreign higher education institutions or carrying out internships in foreign organizations, performing mentoring activities. As a result, students become more attractive to the labour market, more motivated, more open to innovation.
