Utenos kolegija has a vision to be an innovative, nationally, and internationally recognised HEI that meets the expectations of society, based on high quality, responsible social partnership, the development of a sustainable environment for the region and the country, and the promotion of democratic values and tolerance. EU and national strategic documents emphasise the development of internationalisation and its importance for the development of not only HEIs but also for the development of society and public added value. The Erasmus+ project aimed to promote international academic mobility and international cooperation through the development of the participants' foreign language competencies, raising their awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries, offering them the opportunity to build transnational networks, participate actively in social activities and to develop a sense of European citizenship and identity. The project contributed to the implementation of the College's strategic objectives and plans: International Development Strategy 2021-2027, and the Strategic Action Plan 2022- 2024, and are in line with the objectives of the ESP 2021-2027 and the main principles of the ECHE Charter.
