The Erasmus+ program is the main tool that allows HEI to achieve internationalization KPIs of the institution. A new VILNIUS TECH strategy approved at the end of 2021, an integral part of which is the internationalization of science and studies. The goal is for every VILNIUS TECH graduate to have international experience, including internationalization at home. The university is and aims to be an international center of action for talent, business, and society. Erasmus+ program creates broad opportunities for the implementation of university internationalization strategy by providing support for the mobility of students and staff, developing partnerships with universities and businesses in and outside the EU, creating, testing, and implementing the new innovative study and research practices as well as sharing EU values, best practices and experience. VILNIUS TECH undertakes to implement all the projects within the Erasmus+ program following the principles of the ERASMUS CHARTER FOR HIGHER EDUCATION. This project directly contributed to the achievement of the intended goals and KPIs: to send 500 students to study mobility (+BIP); to welcome the same number of incoming students, and about 10% of the staff participate in mobility.
