STEAM Education is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. It leads students to thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century! But we raised the question what support the educators had got; sometimes self motyvation isn't enough. To fill in this gap in our environments with international partnership, we designed our project: ‘Take Eco Action with STEAM’. The main aim of the project was to increase motivation and interest of teachers in EcoSTEAM, to develop their professional competences. This project enabled teachers to raise awareness about interdisciplinary relationship between such subjects as Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths and environment protection by exchanging ideas, experiences with their European partners. With the help of project activities our students (aged 8-13) developed their skills to connect their learning in STEAM areas together with ecological ideas, knowledge, practices, motyvation, competences.
