The main objectives of the project are: 1) to explore and find new ways of teaching and learning STREAM subjects; 2) to develop and test creative approaches integrating STREAM subjects; 3) to engage and excite students in learning STREAM subjects; 5) to raise the level of achievement of students in science and technology learning.
This project has been designed to make STREAM more understandable, attractive and productive. The project sought a new approach to creating interdisciplinary communication between all STREAM subjects. Taking into account the valid arguments of teachers of STREAM subjects that the main teaching problem is the methods to teach individual subjects, but the lack of tools to link and integrate all STREAM subjects. An important focus of the project is the promotion of new partnerships and cooperation. The project's objectives were pursued through the sharing of experiences between partners using different teaching methodologies. Lithuania and Finland have different education systems, and therefore teachers' methods are different. Despite the differences, the aim was to develop a common teaching tool that could be used by both Lithuanian and Finnish education systems. The target groups of the project are teachers and students. The project activities focused on the need for teachers to have a new methodological tool, for students to be more engaged and interested in STREAM subjects and to improve student achievement.
