Objectives

WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE BY IMPLEMENTING OUR PROJECT We aimed to reach a more peaceful society by raising public awareness through the objectives of our project. Not only in Lithuania, but all over the world, people lack adequate knowledge and training on stress and anger management. In order to meet this need, we worked to make our project accessible to the widest possible audience. Through informative presentations, supportive activities and group work in our project activities, our participants learned new information about our project topic and had the opportunity to reinforce this knowledge. At the same time, we tried to raise social awareness on Ways of Coping with Stress and Stress Management through local activities. Our young participants, who were aware of the opportunities offered by Erasmus Plus Youth Programs, were encouraged to participate in social awareness activities as volunteers. With all the activities, it was ensured that the local people and participant groups moved away from their prejudices. Our participant groups, supported by cultural activities, were also encouraged to avoid discriminatory and racist attitudes. In this context, the goals we have achieved; -Our target audience gained knowledge by defining stress and anger, -It helped our target audience discover the causes and effects of stress on behaviour, -People in society have had extensive knowledge to control stress in their lives, perceived their personal potential, -People became conscious of the chance to avoid emotional, cognitive and behavioral problems due to deficiencies in controlling anger, -Our project participants and target group were informed about short and long term methods and competencies that they can use to cope with stress, - Young people learned about how to communicate in stressful situations, - More people became aware of how improving problem-solving skills can positively affect our anger management, -More and more people became aware of the effects of improving their self-esteem on stress management, -With brainstorming, theoretical subjects were applied on different subjects and the retention of the education was increased, -Awareness-raising activities were carried out to reduce crimes caused by uncontrolled anger, -Studies were carried out to raise awareness of young people in Europe on this issue and to support the dissemination of stress management and anger management training courses in their communities. Our Erasmus Plus Goals with Our Project - Our project welcomed people from many cultures thanks to its multicultural nature. In this respect, Erasmus+ promoted European values (human dignity, freedom democracy, equality, rule of law and human, pluralism, non-discrimination, justice, solidarity, equality of women and men, sovereignty in a society). In this direction, cultural activities were emphasized. - It supported the development of the target group's character while enabling people to cope with stress, gain experience and competencies, develop these competencies, recognize achievements and encourage more individuals. As a result of all this, we tried to reach large masses by disseminating our project as widely as possible in order to reduce the number of lack of information and education and to raise awareness on the issue.
