First objective. Promote the growth of digital skills of adult learners. In order to create a quality offer of lifelong education, a competent and capable teacher is needed. There are such instructors in Gulbene district, however, not all of these trainers have sufficient digital skills to be able to successfully implement their programs. Often, the teacher lacks only a small understanding of the use of certain tools in order to be able to successfully manage and organize lessons. During the project, adult educators will learn digital skills, who will then transfer the acquired knowledge to county adults, teachers, representatives of various professions and other adult learning organizers. Promote the creation of new, interactive, digital programs in Gulbene district. Digital skills give the teacher a great opportunity to prepare interesting lessons that can help the residents of Gulbene district to improve themselves. Studying in other countries is always a challenge and in some sense difficulties, however, only by overcoming such difficulties, educators and teaching staff can gain international experience and international approaches to teaching adults.
The municipality of Gulbene region is responsible for various socio-economic processes in Gulbene district - municipality is responsible for the development and maintenance of infrastructure, as well as for education, culture and other areas within the district. The municipality of Gulbene region is directly responsible for educating adults and creating various educational programs for adults. In general, adult education can be divided into three sectors: • Education of teachers and pedagogues. The Gulbene Municipality Education Department and each educational institution are responsible for the education of pedagogues. • Adult education. Here we can mention the three most important players in the municipality of Gulbene district - the library, the education department, as well as other institutions subordinate to the municipality. • Non-formal education local projects. As part of the project, we tried to combine all three areas in adult education. We attracted participants from different sectors: the education administration, which is basically responsible for teacher education, from libraries, which is responsible for both librarian education and offering various educational programs to local residents.
