At the time when globalization in the European Union continues to pose new challenges, everyone needs a wide range of competences. The state of emergency caused by Covid-19 has disrupted the usual models of Paul Stradins Clinical University Hospital (PSCUH) operational functions, incl. management of educational process and ways of communication, in the provision of adult education. It has most directly affected adult educators due to rapid transition to digital learning environment. In internal survey on the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in the provision of education and training, 81% admitted that communication between colleagues, learners and others has deteriorated rapidly. Working in PSCUH during the emergency situation has generally led to increased stress, emotional overload, burnout.
