The priorities of our strategic European Development Plan 2021-2027 are: - promotion of creativity, especially calligraphy throughout Latvia, - art and music education for adults in connection with talent development, - outdoor and cultural activities for adults, especially the interaction between cultural and educational programmes, - new competence approaches to language methodology and the development of the calligraphy sector throughout Latvia. It is therefore important to prepare our trainers in time for this. Many skills are learnt in Latvia by attending seminars and conferences, but many new, innovative methods are valuable to learn abroad. The European Development Plan is available at our organization, but will be further improved and updated in the period until 2027. The aim of this project was to improve methodologies in our chosen fields, which we intend to achieve through mobility within the project and subsequent further training of colleagues and all other interested parties.
Culture and and education studio Talent City has been operating for twelve years. Its main activities are the organisation of calligraphy courses for adults and English language training. In parallel, we organise qualification courses for teachers, as well as various creative workshops, thus complementing the existing experience in organising and conducting classes. Masterclasses are also organised, where participants learn a specific topic or technique. All the activities of the association are regularly presented on the association's website: www.talantupilseta.lv, which is linked to social media networks. Project "Elements" was implemented in order to give our trainers a European level of knowledge and the ability to pass it on to their students.
