1. With the help of international training, modernize the education and training approach implemented by teachers in adult education curricula. 2. To improve the capacity of adult education workers who create and manage adult education projects.
The Erasmus+ mobility project "Experience that inspires" provided the opportunity for the development of adult education at Vidzeme Technology and Design Vocational School. One of the goals was to develop the organizational environment - to give teaching staff and employees the opportunity to improve their competences and gain international experience by lerning at international trainings in partner organizations: ShipCon Ltd. and "EPD - European Projects Development Unipessoal". From September 1, 2021 to May 1, 2022, 6 teachers and 4 employees involved in adult education programs had the opportunity to attend 5-day training courses in the following countries: Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, In Cyprus and Portugal, training was held in the following courses - "Train the trainer", "ICT skills for educators", "Teamwork and teambuilding: reach high & far", "Leadership and management in educational establishments", "Efficient and effective project management for EU funded projects", "English for educators", "Cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset in education" and "Methods in Adult Education".
