OBJECTIVE I. Provide international practice placements for the best students of the LMA Maritime vocational school. OBJECTIVE II. Develop the students adaptability to the international work environment and their multi-cultural tolerance and understanding. Improve communication and language skills. OBJECTIVE III. Providing social equality and inclusion for those of less possibilities coming from the regions of Latvia. OBJECTIVE IV. Rise the teachers ability to adapt to the demanding teaching environment, including distance learning by improving their IT skills and knowledge. Discover the best apps and tools for e-learning, distance learning and web design. Enhance inclusiveness by offering the course to the teachers of the older generation.
The Project provided practice placements for the Navigating officers and Ship Engineering specialty students of Latvian Maritime Academy’s Maritime Vocational School. Place of practice: yacht ports and shipyards in Spain and Italy, which are appropriate for this aim as can provide placements in the necessary sector.
