The purpose of student mobility helped them learn the chosen profession better, developed their professional competence, knowledge, skills, as well as skills, provided an opportunity to get acquainted with new work methods and techniques, as well as learn new technologies. The level of students' knowledge was increased, they gained a greater understanding of their chosen profession, and gained work experience. What was obtained made a significant contribution to the growth of the students' personality, as well as to their career development. The second activity of the project envisaged the observation of the work of vocational education specialists and the exchange of experience, familiarization with student internships in partner organizations, learning new teaching methods, practical skills in organizing the education process based on the work environment. Vocational education specialists and practice leaders improved their knowledge in conducting practical lessons, organizing teaching work and the education system in Europe.
Jelgava Crafts Secondary School - hereinafter - JAV, upon receiving the approval of the project, started the preparation of the project "Improving the professional competence of students and teachers of Jelgava Crafts Secondary School" No. 2021-1-LV01-KA122-000017390, so that the students can better learn the chosen profession, work experience in other European countries countries, languages, cultures and career development, thereby preventing early school leaving. Monitoring of Erasmus quality standards is ensured by the Deputy Director and the JAV Director was responsible. The director is responsible for the quality of the Erasmus organizational process, therefore, when organizing departure meetings for Erasmus practices, correspondence with the host organization, student selection, preparation of documents, stay at the place of practice, quality of interns' work, preparation of evaluation documents are responsibly considered.
