The goal of the project "Step by step towards professional development in Media Art and Design" is the acquisition of new skills, abilities and competencies that would promote the professional development, employment, and competitiveness of RMMT students and graduates in the European labor market. The goal of the technical investment and development strategy for 2021-2027 echoes the goal of the project - to promote students' understanding of the circular economy, the reuse of materials, limiting the consumption of environmental resources and providing practice in companies that implement the principles of sustainable development. The following achievable goals were set in the project application: 1. Development and improvement of professional skills of RMMT students and recent graduates in the work environment. 2. Learning new knowledge, competencies and technologies in project partner schools. Development and wider application of digital skills. 3. Promote the green course and promote green thinking in the context of various professions. 4. Strengthen the European dimension and develop professional education cooperation networks in Europe. 5. To develop young people's communication skills and transversal competencies.
The desire and goals of the Riga Art and Media School are to provide students with international experience, new knowledge, innovative ideas, solutions, technological nuances and practical experience in their specialty, which are different from RMMT in the learning process learned. RMMT educators and staff need to improve their professional knowledge and learn new specialized IT programs. Teachers must explore learning processes, material and technical support in other Art and Design educational institutions in Europe. Participation in the Erasmus+ project ensures the implementation of RMMT's Internationalization Strategy and achieving the goal of the School - to become an internationally recognized institution of secondary professional education. Erasmus+ project implementation ensures the achievement of the goals and development strategy of RMMT.
