The main goal of the project was still to provide Riga Technical University (RTU) students and staff with opportunities to gain new academic and professional knowledge, as well as to develop personal experience and skills (e.g. intercultural competencies) by participating in all project activities. The project activities were intended to contribute to the implementation of the RTU internationalization strategy, to improve RTU implementation of the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education principles, to strengthen the development of the international dimension by improving partnerships with existing partners (especially within University of Technology (EUT+) consortium) and creating new, successful collaborations, to support the horizontal priorities of the Erasmus+ programme, to further develop the use of digital tools developed by the European Commission. We intended to continue promoting the opportunities and benefits of Erasmus+ mobilities among RTU students and staff, highlighting the new types of mobility (short-term and doctoral mobility), increase the numbers of mobilities compared to previous Erasmus+ projects, overcome the effects of the Covid-19, and strengthen the established international environment within RTU.
