The main objective of the ERASMUS+ project agreement No 2021-1-LV01-KA131-HED-000005056 of the P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia was to increase the number of mobilities - for students, lecturers and teaching staff. Professional development in short-cycle higher education study programmes is very important as students consolidate their existing practical knowledge and skills, develop them and gain new experiences at the host institution. The labour market receives more competent and competitive graduates. Students are given the opportunity to take part in study mobility or mobility placements. Lecturers - share theoretical and practical knowledge with students at the host institution. Mutual cooperation increases motivation to participate in project activities in the next project period. Teaching staff - gain experience as partners in the implementation of work tasks in specific areas. This project is linked to the introduction and implementation of BIP (Blended Intensive Programme) projects in the college with the aim of providing students with more knowledge in the fields of health and social welfare.
