The main objectives of Erasmus mobilities are to promote the visibility of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences and the international experience of students and staff. Traditionally, the highest activity is among bachelor students, as the proportion of these students at Ventspils University of Applied Sciences is the highest. The 2021 project saw a decrease in the number of mobilities, which is attributed to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and the high number of canceled or terminated mobilities. Within the 2021 project, Ventspils University of Applied Sciences also experienced a change of several staff members who coordinated Erasmus+ mobility. Despite the significant mobility cancellations and staff shortages, the bravest students preferred to go to mobility. Implementing staff mobility is about building cooperation and learning from partners’ positive and negative experiences. Ventspils University of Applied Sciences plans to broaden the range of services it offers, so it is valuable to gain experience abroad, organize work as efficiently as possible in line with international requirements to ensure that Ventspils University of Applied Sciences graduates receive a high-quality education that meets modern requirements.
