One of the Banku augstskola strategy goal is to provide a high-quality and diverse study and work environment for both students and staff, including increase of its competitiveness and recognition in international level. Taking that into account, the Erasmus+ program at the university has a significant impact on its internationalization processes and is an important prerequisite for the improvement of the university's operation and further development. Outgoing university students improve their professional knowledge and gain experience in cooperation partners’ universities and companies. Thus the Erasmus+ experience is considered a great opportunity and an important factor, especially in terms of students' professional development and personal growth. While incoming students from partner universities abroad ensure the presence of the international environment in the university, allowing to get to know the differences of different cultures and promoting students' mutual cooperation skills. The lecturers and administrative staff of the Banking University also gain invaluable experience in partner universities and foreign organizations. The acquired experience and knowledge are used both for the improvement of the university.
