The aims of the project were connected to teaching youngsters skills such as responsible use of the Internet, secure access to information, appropriate use of social media as well as gaining a lot of practical knowledge about many useful digital tools - resources for information sharing, analysis and creation of different products. The young people had the chance to work in an international team which improved their communicative skills in English and they achieved more knowledge about other countries as well as how to take responsibilities, media literacy and good collaboration. They also had the opportunity to be part of a mixed socio-economic groups and to follow different role models as well as learning outdoors and gaining unusual skills such as surviving and preserving the nature. The main goals of our project were to raise awareness in using technology appropriately for the purposes of education, protecting personal data, distraction from video games and surfing social media as well as developing a desire and curiosity about other countries and cultures.
