The main objective of this project was capacity building and transfer of knew how to our organization, from other organization/s active in the field of active citizenship and democratic participation. This objective was directly linked with our needs: beneficiaries: 1. Need1: Networking with other relevant organizations operating in similar area and receive transfer of knowledge from experienced EU organizations: - To learn how to identify possible sources for funding - To learn how to plan, prepare and implement successful projects - To learn how to achieve maximized impact of implemented activities - To expand the scope of our activities - To improve capacities for active participation - To bring EU values on local level - To be included in global initiatives. 2. Need 2: Enhance know-how and available opportunities for inclusion on local level: - To gain knowledge about the relevant skills and tasks - To get access to other providers and concepts for inclusion on local level - To provide transfer of knowledge, useful for local level functioning - To enhance application of tools for local development - To provide diverse experiences in practicing local democracy .
Our organization is founded in 2009, and its main strategic directions are, promoting European values and citizenship, active participation in the society and human capacity development. This project was developed with aim to: -To reinforce capacities of our organization for better participation in democratic life and facilitation of active citizenship -To enhance transfer of knowledge, in European context, on how to prepare and successfully implement EU funded project -To learn how to connect and network with other relevant organizations across Europe and how to achieve maximized impact in society -To acquire competences on how to become a lead organization on local activism and positive change in society.
