1. Enhance the key competences and skills for family-centered intervention in special educators and rehabilitators that work with young learners with autism, ensuring continuing professional development. With this we can create a stable and appropriate building blocks that can further better the educational process of the learners with autism enrolled in the inclusive educational process. The early intervention is a key process in the life of a child with autism that can steer the path for their progress. 2. Enhancing the competences and skills of parents of young children with autism to become primary educators of their children throughout the day and in a variety of different settings. They are the single most important resource for every child and must be an integral part of the service-delivery and the planning process itself. Given the fact that children spend their early years of life under the constant supervision of their parents, that means they can serve as primary educators.
In N. Macedonia our educational system is undergoing a great transition with the inclusion where every child will have access to regular education by receiving appropriate support where we can start building one society for all regardless of their differences. The paradigm has shifted so the education and the teaching approaches need to adapt to meet the complex needs of learners with special needs in general. The special schools and the NGOs that work with special needs learners will support the educational process and be an integral part of the resources to the educational system. With that explained our organization can be improved by implementing family-centered intervention in the treatment of learners with autism and transferring formal and informal education to special educators working in kindergartens, school, teachers, parents and other professionals involved in the inclusion process which will strengthen their collaboration process for the betterment of the learner’s life.
