The goal of the project is to include students with disabilities in the regular educational process. This definition has recently expanded to include all groups that have a disadvantaged position in society (religious, ethnic and cultural minorities, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, girls, low-income families, people with disabilities, AIDS patients, etc.) In today's sense, inclusive education includes all children who have equal access to social, cultural, educational, vital activities and opportunities, with or without specific needs and/or disabilities, and the right to education with other peers.
The association for informal education, environment and socio-cultural education KALIDUS Bitola offers permanent high-quality informal education, trainings and implementation of various activities in order to develop the creative and work potentials and the quality of life of individuals. Kalidus educates, researches, analyzes and initiates actions and projects that influence and contribute to the development of education, science, environment, culture and society. In this field, the association began to work actively since November 2019 when it contacted professors from the National University of Tierra Del Fuego from Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands. In cooperation with them, we developed the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) which we offered as training to English language teachers in the region. Hence, through UDL, which is one of the ways to introduce inclusiveness in teaching, we decided to help teachers in other forms and ways.
