Euro College's strategy since 2003 has focused on internalizing academic programs, with the International Relations Office (IRO) supporting student and staff mobility. In a project, 15 students and 5 staff members participated in a traineeship period in Sofia, Bulgaria. The main objective was to gain new competencies and skills for career advancement. Staff learned new methods of working, problem-solving, and competences that will benefit their job positions and students. The skills gained will give students a competitive advantage in the labor market. The training was conducted in collaboration with Sdruzhenie za podpomagane na malkiya i sredniya biznes - obedineni biznes klubove, where students and staff received training and job shadowing. The traineeships lasted almost three months, while staff had six days. Students and staff also learned about different cultures, traditions, and living models. They also learned a bit of Bulgarian. The long-term benefit of this project is the continued collaboration with Sdruzhenie za podpomagane na malkiya i sredniya biznes - obedineni biznes klubove as a partner for future Erasmus projects.
