We designed the specific aims, objectives and activities of the three projects to reach 3 objectives from our approved Activity Plan, which is part of our Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation, according to our yearly plan, and those were Objectives 2, 4 and 8. The Staff Mobility (A1 Training course) project focused on our OBJECTIVE 8: Empower young people to become active citizens and motivate their involvement in decision making process in their communities. We designed the training course to contribute towards Objective 8 and this is why the main aim of our training course was: to increase skills knowledge and understanding of youth workers about active citizenship and provide tools to empower youth in their local communities to become active citizens and to promote active participation of youth in the decision-making process at a local level. With this project we wanted to increase the capacities of NGOs to educate and empower young people in their communities to become active members of society and strive to make their community a better place. The specific objectives of this training course were: Objectives -To develop competencies (knowledge, practical skills, and attitudes) of 20 young people coming from the partner countries about active citizenship, advocacy and the decision making processes on a local level; -Learn new tools on how to engage and empower young people to become active citizens, and contribute to the development of their community; -Gain skills on how to organize local activities and engaging youth to be active; -Share good practices from the partner organizations; -Promote youth work and youth organizations and the volunteering opportunities they are offering to young people for self-development; -Promote young people’s active citizenship and social responsibility in their local communities; -Promote the overall personal development of young people as active citizens in diverse and democratic societies; -Empower and encourage youth to participate actively in shaping society – and especially a more integrated Europe; -Make participants become more engaged in the youth rights debate -Debate the importance to have a voice in Europe, where young people are equal citizens and are encouraged and supported to achieve their fullest potential as global citizens -To gain new tools on how to encourage and equip young people with the necessary resources to become active citizens, agents of solidarity and positive change inspired by EU values and a European identity The Learner Mobility (A2 Youth Exchange)and the advanced visit focused on fulfilling Objective 2: Educate youngsters and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our natural environment, lowering the high levels of air pollution and gain more knowledge about living sustainably; and to Objective 4: Educate young people with ITC literacy and use technology to gain new skills and competences. The activities of the youth exchange were designed to reach these objectives combined. The main aim of this youth exchange was to use digital tools to raise the awareness of the importance of protecting our Environment and to promote the use of storytelling and short movies as tools for activism. We wanted to carry out this YE in order to raise awareness about a very important problem in today's world, which is air pollution and protection of the environment. We wanted to use movies as a tool for youth activism and to provide our participants with this tool for their voices to be heard all over Europe. During the working days of the project, the team from 5 different countries created short movies on the topics of environment, pollution, climate change, recycling and the impact of the fashion industry on the environment. We sought to address the ecological issues in our societies and the need for us to start changing the way we live and be more eco-friendly and more aware of all the things we are doing every day that are polluting our environment. We wanted to motivate the young people to be active promoters of the issues in their societies that they want to change. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of this youth exchange: • to raise the citizen's awareness of the current state of the climate changes and the importance of preserving nature, by using digital tools in form of storytelling & short movies; • to share experiences from different countries about how they deal with the problems about recycling and pollution; • Promote the use of movies as a tool to be active citizens in the society we live in; • Sharing different countries cultures and life habits and how each of them deals with the topics pollution and ecology; • Promote voluntarism and activism to the young people.
