The overall goal of the project was to improve student participation practices in decision-making processes within high-schools. Our specific goal was to provide hands-on experiences for high school students to engage in decision making practices within their school environment through: Developing and implementing tailor made simulation game “Your School, Your Matter” where 21 students will simulate the functioning of the school environment and play a role of a: director, pedagogue, school board representative, school council representative; Organizing an event called “When kids take over" where 70 students from 7 high-school will increase their capacities for democratic participation, by become part of the school management and will lead the school; Organizing three-day event called "Have your say" where the students will reflect upon their experience and will gain knowledge on students participation and democracy; Organizing National Conference focused on promoting the importance of student' participation and the involvement of high school students in the decision-making processes. Through these activities, our organization aimed to help student communities develop their capacities which will contribute to the formation of more inclusive democratic youth who will actively participate in schools.
