The primary aim of the project was for students and staff to gain theoretical and hands-on practical experience in foreign universities and stakeholders in relation to tourism and culinary arts. Another aim of the project was to foster the importance of cultural awareness particularly, the cultural knowledge transfer between the participants of Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) with the participants at the receiving institutions and stakeholders. Internationalisation was also at the forefront as one of the project’s objectives whereby through networking, participants exchanged knowledge with staff from the receiving parties. Another key achievement of the project was to strengthen the special partnership between ITS and Haaga-Helia as well as Institut Lyfe.
