ABC wanted to acquire knowledge and experience from relevant partners about the way in which the Voice of the Learneris interpreted in partner countries. Furthermore, ABC wanted to investigate which competences and training are needed to support Language Ambassadors who want to fulfil the role of experience expert in participation and influencing policy
he ABC Foundation represents the interests of low-literacy learners throughout the Netherlands and strives to make thevoice of adult learners heard when it comes to developing policy, shaping quality provision and making government facilities accessible. Through this project, it wants to offer its Language Ambassadors who now mainly provide information the opportunity to develop into experience experts in the field of participation in policy and therefore ABC is also orienting itself on how this is organised in other countries In a previous KA1 project, visits were made to Ireland and Wales. A planned visit to Belgium could not take place due to the Corona pandemic, also not within the extended project period. Thanks to this project, this visit was still achieved.
