Background

Our school is a Dalton school. Dalton education is a form of education that combines independence, cooperation and personal responsibility. In addition, we help students to learn and we give students freedom in being bound by offering choices and allowing them to set their own goals. All this is hung like an umbrella over education. The students therefore also follow the regular subjects, but then via the Dalton vision. Our school offers all levels: vmbo, havo and vwo. In addition to the regular subjects, our school offers extra hours for repetition and/or deepening, Spanish modules, theater subjects and extra sports. Previous Erasmus+ projects that we have organized are: The Four Freedoms and Human Rights to take Action. This project, Green&Health, is the 3rd Erasmus project in our school. We believe it is important that our students become global citizens and that we have a place for citizenship in our curriculum. For this reason, we also link our projects to citizenship, and the following topics, to encourage students to think about the world and to take action in their own environment. Green & Health themes are: climate, environment, a healthy lifestyle, sport and caring for our world.
