The objective of the implementation was, in addition to the possibility of still using resources from call 2021, to meet the feedback in the assessment of call 2021 that short mobilities would make a better contribution to the desire to expand the range. The application provided for 30 long-term trajectories in the form of an internship. The underlying idea was also to realize an extension on existing (short) routes to Berlin. This included a collaboration with Humana, a department store in second-hand clothes, where students could participate in a longer internship following the trip to Berlin from the Business campus. This would increase the sustainable aspect of the Berlin trips and the subsequent internship, as well as the plan to travel by train. Due to the tightness that arose with regard to call 2021, the movement is unintentionally reversed. As a variation on an earlier mobility to Malaga and Seville, a short trip to Istanbul has now been realized. The main objective is to investigate variation in the offer. Istanbul may have less of our preference in view of sustainability, but we are responding to a wish of the students.
ROC TOP has been busy settling the effects of COVID-19. This has caused a delay in the implementation of calls 2018 and 2020. Because there were ample extension options for these calls, in contrast to the calls from 2021, call 2021 was compromised in terms of implementation. In order to still fill the volume of requested mobilities (30), in consultation with the National Agency, 30 short-term mobilities to Istanbul have been chosen. This choice was therefore prompted on the one hand by a lack of time (a limited amount of time left to use call 2021) and on the other hand the result of a short question among students about their ideas about a short trip abroad. This resulted in two options: Berlin and Istanbul, with the latter option ultimately being chosen. Subsequently, students set to work designing a program and its content. This resulted in a selection period based on active participation in the preparatory programme. The program initiated and developed by the students eventually became the basis of a study trip for 30 students and 4 supervisors to Istanbul from 10-02-2023 to 20-02-2023.
