Wageningen University & Research (WUR), a collaboration between Wageningen University (WU) and the Wageningen Research foundation, aspires to be a globally leading university in the fields of agriculture, healthy food and the living environment. By implementing this project WUR wants to strengthen its internationalisation. An important component is student exchange for which we have invested in partnerships both within and outside of Europe. Student exchange allows students to enhance skills and competences, and helps them in their future career, contributes to the international classroom giving a diversified multinational and multicultural view on topics within our domain. Erasmus+ takes away financial barriers and can convince students who otherwise would not go on exchange. The project helps to strengthen staff exchange which improves cooperation at different levels. Staff exchange will help participants in their professional and personal development. New knowledge, skills and ideas that arise from staff exchange directly contribute to education, research and institutional development.
