In order to increase these rates and slow down the climate crisis, all societies, especially young people, needed to become conscious and continue their lives in this way by becoming ecologically literate individuals. The general purpose of our project which was decided to be prepared in the light of all this information, was to increase the motivation and competence of young people in the fight against climate change and to contribute to the reduction of the rate of climate change by showing the effects of the environment to people. Our specific objectives were to recruit: 1. To introduce young people to ecological literacy and activities and to inform them about the subject. 2. To raise awareness about environmental protection among young people by showing the problems caused by unconsciousness about climate and the environment. 3. To increase the motivation and competence of the youth to combat climate change and protect the environment by showing the right behaviours and good practices in terms of protecting the environment. Our project, in which young people were from 8 countries from different regions of Europe come together, increased the intercultural dialogue with the warm environment we provide both with our activities and non-action activities and project experiences, to work together and learn as a part of the solution on climate change, which was experienced throughout Europe and was tried to be solved and their sense of being European was encouraged. Along with roommates and informal conversation environments, cultural nights, accelerated language courses, the city tour and constellations activity further increased this cultural dialogue and interaction. Thus, the prejudices and stereotypes among them were destroyed, their intercultural friendship increased and the values of being European also increased. Our project, which included young people with limited social and educational opportunities, increased the level of basic skills and competencies of young people in matters such as ecological literacy, activism and climate change, and supported the active citizenship of young people in Europe in terms of living conscious and environmentally friendly lives. Thus, young people both gained awareness of a social issue and gained motivation to spread this awareness and also understand the importance of active participation in society individually.
