1) The objective was to improve the motivation, interest and skills of our students in their elected foreign language, Spanish or German. Also, we wanted our language teachers to improve their language skills. 2) We wanted to increase the cultural skills and cultural knowledge of students and staff.
Kvam Upper Secondary School is a small public school in Western Norway. As foreign language, we teach Spanish and German in addition to English. Our students are aged 16-19 years. Most have little contact with the target language in their daily lives, while English play a more central part in their lives.
