BI's main activity within Erasmus+ is student exchange. For this project, BI's main goal was to further strengthen the incoming and outgoing exchange activities and also to enhance the internationalisation awareness of the BI student community. BI planned to increase of the number of exchange students in and out. This meant not only by increasing the number of exchange partners, but also by finding ways to how we could use the current portfolio more efficiently. We wanted to explore other models than (semester) exchange, such as ‘study abroad’, short exchange, and summer programmes abroad. Due to the fact that the project was running in the period of continued Covid-19, the implementation of the project resulted in some disruptions and cancellations and uncertainties related to exchange.
