We wanted to promote and support our students and staff in pursuing an international experience that would enable them to build competencies that would serve them well in their studies and forthcoming careers (students) and present work at OsloMet (staff) within the priorities of the Erasmus+ programme in line with values and goals that are in line with OsloMet's strategies and priorities to ensure relevant studies and networks. We also wanted to welcome students and staff from partners abroad to enrich the environment at OsloMet with an international aspect that would benefit students and staff here as well as benefiting the incoming guests. We also wanted to support staff in building networks to enable them to be part of Erasmus+ projects further down the line. By using the new activity Blended Intensive Programme we hoped to reach students that would not normally be able to go abroad for a longer period of time.
