Nord university's overall internationalisation strategy is built around mobility of students and staff and through this project, we have come closer to achieving our mobility goals. We were also aiming to foster cooperation within education and research in general with our Erasmus+ partners. Exchanging students and staff forms the basis for internationalisation both at our study programmes and at the partner institution. Incoming mobility in general is an enormous boost to the internationalisation-at-home efforts at any of the institutions included in this project. In addition to regular mobility, we wanted to use this first opportunity to become aquainted with the newly introduced concept of Blended Intensive Programmes. We intended to implement one programme as a pilot, in order to understand its benefits and its potential place in the range of opportunities we offer to our students.
