Multiple drug use by multimorbid individuals poses a serious threat to psychosocial health and quality of life. Polypharmacy increases the risk of side effects as well as the number of hospitalizations, thus placing an additional burden on healthcare costs. In addition, in order to increase the quality of life of individuals with multimorbidity, treating their diseases with medication and applying some non-drug treatments are methods that support their psychosocial health. Improving the quality of life of such individuals has become an important need. It aims to support migrant multimorbid people, migrants living in rural and remote areas, and refugees who have fewer opportunities and improve their living standards. This project was undertaken with the aim of contributing to overcoming the barriers faced by this group in accessing the opportunities offered by the programme, creating inclusive environments that promote equity and equality and respond to the needs of the wider society. In the context of the chosen topic, this project aims to support local learning environments, social inclusion and civic engagement through partners. EMALT will enable multimorbid individuals to benefit from lifelong learning opportunities .
