Background

Over the last few years our organisation has grown significantly, with FTS currently consisting of 50+ employees. As we grow, we need to invest continuously in maintaining synergy in the team, aligning competencies of our staff and ensuring high quality educational opportunities on offer. With this project we wanted to develop new learning opportunities for staff members to invest in lifelong learning and our institutional development. We were in need to increase the number of staff prepared to deliver various formats of education for CSOs in order to better guide them through their digital transformation. We wanted to enhance internal capacities as an education provider in the area of digital transformation, with the focus on online education approaches; how to better support CSOs in their digital transformation journey; how to improve learning methods and education content on cloud solutions, digital marketing and digital transformation; and learn about best practices from peers. By addressing these needs we wanted to improve our adult education learning programmes and consequently to better serve our adult learners from CSOs and be able to respond to the growing demand for our support from a wide range of CSOs.
