By implementing this project, we wanted to increase the potential of our organization in the field of designing and organizing innovative forms of activities for middle-aged and elderly people, combining elements of physical, mental and social activity, to establish lasting international contacts constituting the basis for future cross-border projects and to increase the importance of our organization in the local environment and its impact on the educational activation of this environment.
The Addenda Foundation deals with designing and organizing innovative classes for middle-aged and elderly people from various backgrounds, trainings for adult educators and international cooperation in these areas. Our educational programs include actions to improve the quality of life, supporting cognitive functions, memory and harmonizing body and mind. This project included a 6-day visit of an expert - a specialist in body-mind balancing classes, in particular Aikido and mindfulness techniques, and two 10-day job shadowings, one in an organization dealing with the pedagogy of expression, the other in a large, open a university that organizes a wide range of activities, mainly physical ones.
