Objectives

1. Starting international cooperation - establishing new contacts, overcoming internal barriers. 2. Developing the intercultural and linguistic competences of our team. 3. Increasing the broadly understood well-being of the staff and adults with whom we work, developing competences related to techniques of holistic care for oneself, one's body, mind, emotions and relationships. 4. Learning about new approaches to leadership and team management, involving adults in activities and encouraging them to take responsibility to a greater extent. 5. Broadly understood development in adult education, including learning new, innovative ways of working, with extra focus on online or outdoor activities.

Background

We applied for the “Ze Skawiny w świat” project, believing that international cooperation will be another important step for our organisation, well established in the local community, but without experience in programs like Erasmus+. We were looking for new forms of work with adults, including, above all, methods other than indoor activities, which we've offered so far, focused mainly on topics such as self-care, working with the body, and leadership. In recent months, we had been facing a great deal of apathy and a drop in motivation, both for our staff and the adults we work with. As assumed, participation in the project allowed us to refresh our offer, bring new competences, energy and motivation to our team, overcome our own barriers and start international cooperation on a larger scale.
