Objectives

The main aim of our project is to exchange best practices and to gain new experience also at the European level by improving language skills. We deal with many different topics related to ecology, fighting against social exclusion for the benefit of local communities. Related to these activities is increasing the competence of employees and volunteers of our Foundation in digital skills and environmental protection. That is, providing accessible training on these issues in English will improve their skills and thus affect the quality of their training. The aim is also to improve work and communication in EU projects implemented by the Foundation. Language competencies have a significant impact on the level of implemented projects and make it possible to write new ones in cooperation with partners from other countries. The main objective of the project is to increase the competence and quality of work of the Foundation's employees.

Background

New technology and innovation is an issue that is very relevant today. However, it requires new skills and competencies. The Foundation wants to contribute to the process of social innovation. NGOs and social enterprises are a very important sector of our social economy, impacting millions of people across Europe. NGOs, their staff and volunteers also need to update their digital skills. They can achieve this by, among other things, improving their language skills, international exchanges and project cooperation through EU programmes. The English language is essential. Thus, the NGO sector, including our Foundation, not only needs better competencies itself in implementing programs on entrepreneurship and ecology but also plays a key role in disseminating skills and knowledge among disadvantaged parts of society and in local communities
