When applying for the financing for the intensive course in Dublin, our main motivation was to increase the attractiveness of the language and educational offer for adults from Kielce and our region, so that adults would be more willing to learn the language and open up to the world. We wanted the participation in the language course to help us achieve two main goals: to prepare an attractive offer of classes for adults and to train and improve the competences of two of the Association's employees. Moreover, there is no doubt that every training, course, or trip abroad is an opportunity for our educators to develop themselves; have contact with a living language, a chance to exchange good practices, establish relationships with educators from other countries and improve key competences.
In Impakt, we deal with, among other things, work with adults through various methods of non-formal education, we provide creative space for development and self-reflection. We try to engage our local community: English language classes, intergenerational theater plays, gardening workshops and soft skills training are just some of the events we have organized in recent years. In addition, we organize regular meetings where we make participants experience English culture. Working with adults allows us to gain valuable experience that we would like to further develop in the Erasmus + program, because we see great potential in working with adults. We applied for a grant for this project because we care about the continuous improvement of our Association and the educators working in it.
