The main objective was social inclusion and ensuring equal access to high-quality artistic informal education for participants (dance, theater, creative arts). The participants actively engaged in engaging and developmental activities, gaining entirely new opportunities for personal fulfillment, civic engagement, and discovering their own aptitudes, allowing them to find their life paths. An important goal was to raise the standards and quality of the Association's work in terms of professional excellence, creativity, and innovation. Another aim we planned to achieve was the development and internationalization of the Ad Astra Association, as well as the entities collaborating with the Association, actively participating in building the European education area. Through the implemented mobilities within the project all involved parties had the opportunity to gain shared international experiences in the context of teaching, training, or learning. It was also important to enhance the key competencies of the adult learners, particularly those from disadvantaged groups.
The Ad Astra Association has been focused on informal education, particularly for adults with fewer opportunities, since its inception. Our goal is to provide these individuals with opportunities for development through comprehensive, free, and accessible forms of learning. For many years, we have been implementing European projects that offer not only institutional development but also benefits for our participants. We organize classes, support groups, artistic events, as well as developmental and educational workshops and meetings. Our participant group comprises individuals of different ages and backgrounds, and we emphasize the principles of inclusion and diversity while ensuring high-quality activities. Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, we can offer participants the chance to take part in workshops with renowned European experts, benefiting from their knowledge and experience. It is not only our participants who gain from these sessions, but also our association's staff through their involvement in expert-led activities and job shadowing, providing tremendous opportunities for personal and professional growth and motivating further work and creative exploration.
