Objectives

Thanks to the implementation of the project, we wanted the participants to acquire knowledge and skills that would allow us to increase the attractiveness of the educational and cultural classes offered by the institution. Thanks to learning how to create and use digital tools, we can enrich the educational and cultural offer, the purpose of which is to popularize the French language and culture of France and French-speaking countries in the spirit of building openness to the world and shaping intercultural competencies, as well as raise the level of teaching our audience. We wanted to prepare a package of practical tools and raise competence in conducting activities that engage the audience and keep their attention. We also wanted to raise the participants' project management, linguistic and socio-cultural competencies.

Background

The Polish-French Center in Olsztyn is a provincial, self-governing cultural institution whose tasks include non-formal cultural education - popularization of culture, art and the French language through library activities, exhibitions, organization of cultural, educational, social meetings (thanks to cooperation with local NGOs). The second field of our activity is language education - conducting French language courses. One of the main groups-addressees of our offer are adults. Diagnosis of the needs of our institution for educational classes has identified issues that need improvement, so that the classes we offer are even more interesting and accessible to the largest possible audience. The Center's team is small, employees must be multifunctional and have a wide range of knowledge. This forces us to expand our knowledge and master skills in different subject areas. The implementation of the project has enabled us to develop the competencies that are necessary to build an educational offer that takes into account the interests and needs of people of different ages and abilities, as well as to adapt the offer to the technological requirements of the modern world.
