Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to achieve the following goals: Goal 1: Improving the skills of parents through education in the area of parental competence. Objective 1 was the result of an analysis of the needs of a group of parents. The goal was directly related to the need to develop parenting skills for single parents and parents in difficult social and economic situations. It was necessary to improve parental competences in the context of the ability to cope with the negative effects of the pandemic. Objective 2: Strengthening European cooperation in order to improve the quality of educational services for parents. Objective 2 was related to the need to strengthen educational cooperation by taking action at the international level. The implemented mobility of the goal of conducting didactic classes contributed to the achievement of the goal. Objective 3: Increasing the language competences of the staff in the field of conducting educational activities in English online and offline. Objective 3 was directly related to the needs and challenges of language competences, which are a priority and should be constantly developed. The completed Training Course contributed to the achievement of Objective 3.
The needs and challenges related to the development of the Fundacja Family Center organization, covered the following areas: adult learners/parents, teaching staff and organization. The current need was to develop parental competences among single parents in a difficult social and economic situation. The restrictions related to the pandemic and the change in lifestyle have had a negative impact on the family. Insufficient parental competence caused difficulties in being a supportive parent. The staff of the organization needed to carry out activities in an international environment. Action type: Conducting didactic classes created an opportunity to educate parents in a multicultural environment. Mobility made it possible to confront the own experiences of the educational staff from Poland in the field of classes improving parental competences. Staff mobility has contributed to strengthening the European dimension of learning. The organization needed professional staff with the skills to conduct educational activities in English. The challenges faced by the organization were taken up through the support of the Erasmus+ Programme.
