Participation in mobilities aimed at improving the competencies and skills of the staff working with adult migrants, and consequently - enhancing the quality of our educational and integration efforts directed towards these groups of learners. Proper preparation of the teaching staff, meaning equipping them with appropriate qualifications and skills, as well as continuous updating of their training workshops in response to current challenges, is a crucial element enabling the implementation of effective and high-quality educational activities. This has a direct impact on the level and quality of learning outcomes achieved by our beneficiaries, and thus on their further development, motivation, and functioning within the community.
Graceland's activities focus on supporting immigrants, including facilitating their integration into local communities. By offering educational activities for adult migrants and their families, our organization fills the gap between the institutions offering formal support (visas, legalization of stay), universities aimed at foreign students and commercial organizations offering e.g. Polish language courses for foreigners. The number of immigrants in Poland is growing every year, while neither the applicable law, nor the administrative structures, nor the society are adequately prepared to receive them. Working with immigrants raises a number of questions and problems, hence the need to look for examples of good practice in more experienced institutions and in countries that not only cope well with migration, but, what is particularly important, whose societies are more open to receiving immigrants and refugees.
