Objectives

Our goal was to enable the Institute's members to receive modern education in another European country and participate in conferences and training courses abroad, and share their knowledge there. In particular, the goal was: to improve the organization's management skills; to acquire new competencies by new members of the association in the field of adult education, including learning about and adapting new tools and teaching methods; to learn the forms of operation of other European NGOs and the tools and working methods used by these organizations. Within the framework of the project, we expanded workshop education for the promotion of diversity and inclusion and social work across divisions as a response to manifestations of discrimination and violence. We have made every effort in acquiring new and deepening key competencies, particularly in multilingualism, but also in social and civic skills. The skills acquired will be used in the development of new educational offerings.

Background

In an era of growing social tensions, the idea of the Institute remains to promote tolerance based on the popularization of knowledge of multiculturalism, bridging social exclusion by promoting humanistic attitudes, acceptance of another person and their world. It was important to organize meetings and workshops to develop the interests of participants, but also to integrate them and overcome loneliness in a post-pandemic world. In order to be able to offer our listeners activities for the present times, we should train all the time. We know from experience that investment in human capital always brings the expected results. This project enabled us to learn and acquire the necessary competencies to diversify and develop our educational activities.
