Many students are brought up in difficult backgrounds and financially disadvantaged thus travelling to partner schools would enable them to experience the world that is out of their reach , improve students speaking and ICT skills both students' and teachers'. It would raise their self- esteem and motivate them to develop their interests and talents. The project's aim was to develop both teachers and students' abilities to use and experience modern technology and visit schools using new teaching solutions. We wanted to motivate teachers of early education (1-3 rd grade) and foreign languages teachers to enrich their workshop by taking part in job shadowing and courses. Workshops abroad and cooperation with foreign partners would improve the communication abilities among teachers and shows modern ways of teaching languages and basic subjects on early learning stage .What's more - Rybnik is one of the most polluted towns in the world. Both students and teachers would benefit from the environmental workshops and projects. We wanted to encourage all the participants to look for the new solutions in protecting the local environment. There is no better place than school to start with.
We decided to apply for this project to enable our organisation getting into the XXI century teaching /learning reality.Pandemia showed us how important digital tools are and having the modern ICT equipment at school. Unfortunately , education in our school is based on paper xerocopies much more than digital tools which are more attractive to students and can offer more effective learning process. Thanks to job shadowing and cooperation with schools abroad we can learn new ways of teaching English and using ICT tools. Another argument for applying for this project is the need to practise speaking in English and developing speaking skills among students and teachers . Finally, we want to start building an environmentally friendly society as pollution is a serious problem in our town.
