Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to achieve primarily two main goals, i.e.: 1. Improving the communication skills of teachers (English) of the School and Kindergarten Complex in Goniądz, 2. Exchange of experience in the didactic and educational work of teachers of the School and Kindergarten Complex in Goniądz. In addition, we wanted to establish international cooperation on a large scale to create a European dimension of education. We wanted to meet the needs of the teaching staff of ZSP in Goniądz by increasing the attractiveness of the school's educational offer, increasing the innovativeness of general education, improving the school's image in the local environment as a school with greater opportunities. Thanks to the implementation of the project, teachers were supported in acquiring competences and professional experience in their profession, which will certainly increase the chances of employment on the European labor market and beyond its borders, and additionally increase the attractiveness and international dimension of school education.
The School and Kindergarten Complex in Goniądz consists of a Primary School and a Local Government Kindergarten. The school implements the core curriculum of general education, while the pre-school curriculum is implemented in the kindergarten. The main task of the institution is educational activity: didactic, tutor and care. The school's goal is the all-round development of the student. The Start Teachers project assumed the implementation of staff mobility for job-shadowing for 20 teachers, divided into two groups. The project ran for 18 months. The aim of the project was to improve teachers' communication skills and to exchange teachers' didactic and educational work experiences. The main plan was to create a European dimension of school education, and this was possible only thanks to the support received and the inclusion of 20 school teachers in international cooperation and showing the participants how educational structures in other European countries work.
