We wanted to: a) increase level of knowledge of the foreign lanuage among teachers and students b) sustain international level of school and its international potentail c) achieve possitive effects on working with special needs students and to make them join in full process of education and its non educational issues d) innovation in school regular activities
The school is a public one located in the city centre of the town. It is directly connected to the local museum due to its name. The school takes part in European projects for a long time and it the place where regular international meetings are held. As it has a high number of special needs students regular classes are mixed along with the integrated ones. The project based on social community's needs and was the response to them- it was supposed to increase level of knowledge of the foreign language, including special needs students into project's activities and to continue innovative teaching process by looking for new methods that would help motivate different students' groups. The project was a mirror to both projects of the hosting schools in Italy. It let us work for a long time with active work in Poland and Italy making direct beneficiary our school but indirectly also Italian ones.
